Tim McComb has been the Athletic Director for seven years at Bentley High School. He started as the Athletic Director, and Supervisor of Support Services which included Transportation, Kitchen Service, Janitorial, Maintenance and Grounds. This year he was promoted to just Athletic Director and Transportation Supervisor, this move allowed Tim to focus more time in Athletics. It still amazes me very day the amount of work he has and how can manage the work so successful. Organization is the key for Tim, and asking for help. Tim’s sectary Ms. Diana is his savor as she picks up where he leaves off, and provides the assistance he needs to focus on increasing participation in sports. Through the years the number of individuals playing sports has been on the decline and with the time Tim has now to focus on sports his focus has been to increase participation in all levels of sports. Bentley is a small division seven school out of eight with only about 300 students in the high school. The lower amount of students you would think would be easier to get more kids to participate in sports but it’s actually much harder. Tim’s attention is on more kids playing sports and hopefully with my help we will be able to increase the number students playing sports at Bentley.
